Bruce Trail Waterfall Walks

The Heart of Ontario is home to many exceptional outdoor experiences and the Hamilton Halton Brant Regional Tourism Association (HHBRTA) underwent an outdoor product assessment that identified hiking/walking the Bruce Trail as a significant outdoor tourism opportunity for the area.

As a result, a two day, and a five-day all-inclusive waterfall walking tour (product/experience development) was built along the Bruce Trail.

Winding through Hamilton and Halton, the Bruce Trail takes hikers/walkers along the Niagara Escarpment, passing stunning waterfalls, through Carolinian forests and stopping at scenic vistas that will leave any hiker in awe. The Bruce Trail Waterfall Walks provide each group with an experienced and highly trained guide that will offer interpretation throughout the hike. Packaged with the best hotels in the area this experience will be include shuttle service to and from the trails for all participants. While on the trail, guests will enjoy picnic lunches provided by local farmers markets and bakeries, and restaurants have also been carefully selected to ensure an excellent dining experience, tasting local cuisine each night. By the end participants will leave with new friends, great memories and a love for hiking the Bruce Trail.

The five (5) day, four (4) night package features:

  • Access to 28 waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment in the Hamilton/Halton region

The two (2) day walking tour is also offered for those wanting a sampler version of the full route. All the perks offered in the 5-day tour will be included.
