Building a tourism region that fosters a flourishing space of Indigenous representation and inclusion; what does this mean? What can it look like?
Guided by the National Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s “10 Principles of Reconciliation”, this training session invites Indigenous voices to share their perspectives, while we workshop common questions, issues & concerns that we have across our tourism region. As a group we will create tourist experiences that are informed and inclusive of Indigenous peoples, perspectives, histories & cultures, working together to ensure that we are doing our part in fostering the spirit of Reconciliation for Hamilton-Halton-Brant communities and our guests.
