Grand River Paris

Over the past ten years, regional tourism development has distinctively created a destination that is attractive and competitive in the larger consumer market. Working collaboratively with partners, we have invested provincial funding to position the Region well for the future in a way that has complimented the existing activities of partners and avoiding duplication.

Our Regional Tourism Strategy has focussed our work to strategically stimulate and diversify Hamilton Halton Brant tourism products and experiences and build collaborations along the way to growth. Our region has unique and diverse experiences that contribute to Ontario's global and domestic visitor appeal. The growth of the tourism sector in HHB will continue to be strong so long as the investment and development takes place in an open and sustainable manner. HHBRTA is focussed on the future, building onto the baselines established, and implementing new initiatives proactively and collaboratively with industry partners.

Our destination is located between Niagara and Toronto and on the shores of Lake Ontario, providing visitors a four-season destination filled with unique nature-bound experiences, a discovery of first Canadian innovations and footprints, and plenty of Indigenous story-telling of our First Nations. Stroll iconic gardens, learn about sustainable conservation in vibrant lush settings, get up-close and personal experiences as your walk up the wild! Discover our stunning region that is sprinkled with majestic waterfalls along the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, dip a paddle in our Canadian heritage river, or hike Canada's longest foot path, the Bruce Trail.
