Board of Directors

Hamilton Halton Brant Regional Tourism Association's (HHBRTA) Board of Directors is comprised of a multi-disciplined group with extensive experience in the tourism sector. Included in the wide skill-set are professionals, operators, business owners, from hotel management and marketing, event staging, destination development, attractions, the education sector, governance and finance. We look to our Board for strategic guidance, policy development, fiscal approval and active engagement in HHBRTA project deployment. Tenure with the Board of Directors and Chair is three years.

In addition to their responsibilities, our directors participate in a variety of committees that include:  Governance and Nominating, Finance and Audit, HR & Compensation, Board Outreach, Board Education and Development (Board Committees), and Marketing & Experience Development Industry Exchange Forum (Operational Committee - Executive Director Chairs).

These Board Committees advise and support Directors in applying corporate governance principles, assist in evaluating potential board candidates, review and advise annual objectives, HR policies, plans and processes, including succession, compensation and benefit plans, and oversee the administrative investment activities and financial reporting.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our Board of Directors or one of the Committees, please review the Call For Nomination criteria and complete the Board of Director Application ,or the Committee Application with your expression of interest.
